Hemispheric Asymmetries in the Mid?latitude Ionosphere During the September 7–8, 2017 Storm: Multi?instrument Observations

چکیده
Hemispheric asymmetries of the Vertical Total Electron Content (VTEC) were observed during first recovery phase geomagnetic storm on September 7–8, 2017. These occurred at mid latitudes two different local times simultaneously: In European-African sector (early morning), time VTEC in southern/northern hemisphere was higher/lower than quiet value, suggesting entered positive/negative (N?S+). East Asian-Australian (afternoon), change positive northern hemisphere, but negative southern (N+S?). The electron density profiles from digisondes demonstrated that appeared F region as well. plasma drifts data digisondes, column-integrated [O]/[N2] ratio GUVI onboard TIMED satellite, and detrended utilized to study drivers asymmetries. Traveling Ionospheric Disturbance (TID) signatures identified digisonde drift before appearance asymmetry. magnitude TIDs larger where later. Africa (S+) Europe (N?). However, measurements not available focused period. hemispheric differences vertical also both sectors. Therefore, sectors are suggested be due thermospheric composition change, drift, TID activity.

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
Hemispheric Asymmetries during Processing of Immoral Stimuli
Evolutionary approaches to dissecting our psychological architecture underscore the importance of both function and structure. Here we focus on both the function and structure of our neural circuitry and report a functional bilateral asymmetry associated with the processing of immoral stimuli. Many processes in the human brain are associated with functional specialization unique to one hemisphe...
متن کاملHemispheric Asymmetries: The Comparative View
Hemispheric asymmetries play an important role in almost all cognitive functions. For more than a century, they were considered to be uniquely human but now an increasing number of findings in all vertebrate classes make it likely that we inherited our asymmetries from common ancestors. Thus, studying animal models could provide unique insights into the mechanisms of lateralization. We outline ...
